Watchlist for 2/26/15

SPY still near highs but a bit choppy as it works off it's overbought condition via time.

Names on watch for 2/26/15

YELP- Consolidating under a trendline for several days now. Looking for a pop over.
CBI- Big break out on the daily with earnings. Looking for continuation here.
ARUN- Huge jump Wednesday afternoon on HP news. Not sure if it will do anything but worth a look.
RDC- Big move down Wednesday. Looking for a short if it pushes under $21.50 at the open.
COH- Overbought and extended here. Like this for a short. Maybe one last push higher first. G/R type move.
DO- Down a second day stretching the Bollenger Bands. Might get a quick bounce here.

Watchlist for 2/23/15

SPY closes at new highs Friday. Plenty of nice charts out there especially if the market continues.

Names on watch for 2/23/15:
VFC- Closed right up against resistance. Looking for a continuation over $76. Red to green move.
TRUE- Big breakdown on Friday on earnings with a weak bounce. Looking for more weakness.
DSW- Nice flag break on the daily Friday. See if it continues.
FUEL- Earnings miss on Friday.  Want to see a break of $10.75 support.
NDLS- Another earnings miss. Huge sell off at end of day. Looking for a green to red move lower.
BCEI and OAS- Two oil names with nice charts in case oil moves higher.
LUV-Nice bounce on Friday. Airlines tend to run opposite of oil. So if oil goes lower we may se this one break over $45.
AMBA- Finally broke it's 3 day consolidation. Looking for a $52 break.

Watchlist for 2/19/15

SPY closed near highs again Wednesday as the dip got bought on FOMC news.

Names on watch for Thursday:
AMBA- consolidating for two days now. See if it breaks over it's trend line around $52.
OCN- Big pop at the open and then a big pull back to it's trend line. Looking for the tl to finally break down.
VFC- High, tight flag. Overbought and on the edge of the bollenger bands. Looking for a break down with a weak market.
FEYE- Another overbought name for a break down below $43.25.
VHC- Continuation of today's run. $6.50 is a resistance area. A break over that could really send it flying.
ARRS- Up big today before earnings. Earnings beat out after hours. Looking continuation over the 2odma.

Watchlist for 2/17/15

SPY continued its move up on Friday and is now in overbought territory. Maybe a pullback here to consolidate.

Stocks on watch for Monday:

OCN- A move over $9.25 could give it a run to $11 area.
AMBA- Move down to the 100dma area Friday on GPRO news. Looking for a green to red type move to see if the 100 holds or cracks.
YELP- Broke it's up trend Friday. Looking for more weakness.
FTI- Breakout watch over $41.
SKYW- Breakout watch over $14.
FET- Continuation of Friday's move.
VFC- Earning pop on Friday and then all day consolidation. Looking for continuation.

Watchlist for 2/13/15

SPY made a clear move out of its range today and come within a hair of all time highs. Friday we'll see if it continues or needs a break before moving higher.

Names on watch for Friday:
YELP- Help it's uptrend again today and found resistance at the 8ema. Looking to see if it breaks the 8 to fill the gap or fails there for a quick short.
YHOO- Strong move out of it's base. Looking for continuation.
FSLR- Overbought and up against the 100dma. Looking for a quick short if it breaks it's trend line.
MOH- Up three days now. Quick counter trend short if it breaks its trend line or a weak market.
BWA- Big move on earnings and a close near it's high. Looking for continuation.
JKS- Consolidated all day above the 100dma. Looking for a long break.

Watchlist for 2/12/15

Another close near the top of the range for SPY today. Looking for signs of follow through on Thursday.

Names on watch:
YELP- Holding it's up trend line. May look to buy on dips near support and a break out of $46.50.
CRL- Break out watch over $73.50.
FTI- Consolidated all afternoon. Watching for a break above $41.
SCI- Earnings play. Looking for continuation higher.

Watchlist for 2/11/15

SPY held the 8ema and close at the top of the range. Wednesday we may get to see if we can break out of the range or pull back down inside it.

Stocks on watch:
CONN- Close against the 100DMA and more overbought. Look for a breakout failure above the $25.50 area
OPK- Barely held it's trend line today and close below the previous day's high for the first time in a while. We may finally get the crack on Wednesday.
FSLR- News out on Tues which gave it a pop. Looking for continuation with a target of $50.20
YELP- Consolidates all day on Tuesday. Look for a breakout First thing Wednesday.
CSOD- Got and upgrade Tues and has earning Wed. Looking for a break of the trend line higher.

2/10/15 Watchlist

Lower volume, range bound market action continues. Be quick and take profits where you can as follow through is still limited.

Names on watch for 2-10-15:
CONN- Overbought with a parabolic short setting up. Look for a pop to short against the 100DMA at $25.60.
OPK- Overbought. A break of $13.90 could signal the break of it's uptrend for a short.
YELP- Held it's downtrend line again on Monday. Let's see if it continues down of make a bounce.
QCOM- After hours action on the settlement of a lawsuit in China. Looking for a break of $69 then $69.60.
GLUU- Another overbought name. A break below $5 could signal a reversal for a short.
YHOO- Down 5 days in a row. Looking for a bounce here. Break above $42.80 for confirmation.

2/9/15 Watchlist

Markets still in a range for now. It's earning seasons so we'll look to earnings plays to find momentum. These stocks can stay in play for several days. Stocks on watch for Monday Feb 9th:
OPK- Finally showed some weakness Fri after being up for several weeks in a row. Look for a break below $13.40 for a short.
LC- Range break above $20.90.
YELP- Down big on earnings Friday. See if it drops below $45 support area or bounces.
GLUU- Overbought. Looking for a break of trendline support for a short. May need to pop higher before it's ready.
GENE- In a triangle. Looking for a move either way. Short on a pop with a stop above $4.50 or buy the breakout.
KORS- Filled the gap from Jan breakdown. Now let's see if it can break over resistance area around $73. SM- I like this one if oil gets a bounce. I break out of it's range is also a break of the 100 DMA which could help it go.
